The Flowing Wells School District in Tucson, Arizona is asking the parents of high school students and junior high school students to pledge never to use guns or violence to resolve problems. Reasonable people would agree with this statement.
However, have you noticed how the globalists sell their agenda by first starting with a principle that all people agree with? Subsequently, the globalists employ the old social psychological principle known as the “foot-in-the-door phenomenon” in which people will tend to acquiesce to a large request if they have already agreed to a smaller request.
We would all agree to the stipulation that guns should be kept in a safe place and only used in the most extreme cases of self-defense. However, the “Student/Parent/Principal Contract for Eliminating Guns and Weapons from School 2013-2014″ is part of the Flowing Wells Unified School District’s registration packet for the current school year, reports the (Tucson) Arizona Daily Independent. Ultimately, this is a foot-in-the-door attempt to eventually govern behavior in private homes.
This is an overreach on the part of the Flowing Wells School District and represents a waste of taxpayer money. Schools should be teaching students about the sanctity of the Second Amendment, but they certainly are not the guardian of the Second Amendment.
