Our suburb of Denver WAS NOT busy AT ALL. It was odd, creepy, weird and sad. Many people in this area do not have the disposable income to spend for the Christmas season (or Thanksgiving). It is truly about buying food and paying utilities and purchasing gas for vehicles for work. Have a feeling that wealthier areas won't feel the crunch for another 6 months to a year. And those that still have some type of credit will continue to use their credit cards/401K's/other income streams until the bottom falls out. However, the poor along the lower economic rungs of the ladder are definitely having problems right now.
Keep ringing the bell. The masses will wake up (albeit too late for many).
