REPO is not QE, and even so, "printing" does not cause inflation, but rather loss of confidence in government. Some inflation due to shortages of some commodities yes, hyperinflation NO, at least until the 2030s, when sovereigns fall, major earth changes notwithstanding. Economic "fundamentals" are deadly misleading. REPO is because US banks don't trust other banks' Euro involvement, and the money goes into equities as safe haven, not buying pressure. Econ disaster will begin in Europe, with US as final collapse, but not for a while yet. Except very briefly, gold will be of little value - take a position of practical self sustainability. Be careful not to become Chicken Little based on misconceptions of economic fundamentals. Huge mistake.
