I heard a radio commercial the other day and I just couldn't believe what I heard. Ford Motor Company is encouraging people to custom order vehicles at their dealers. Decades ago that was common. More recently automakers mass produced, shipped to dealers and customers picked off the lot. This tells me that auto production will be severely reduced and it will be, like in the old days, cash down on a made-to-order vehicle THEN it will be built. This is a result of supply chain breakdown.
Now that China is slowing exports, where are you going to buy stuff like toilet brushes, brooms, garden tools, and microwaves that 99% are made in China?
