Two billion dollars in rate hikes is a record, even for PG&E. These rate hikes will paralyze California. PG&E offices are witnessing the presence of bankruptcy lawyers. Where is the money going???

The utilities are cozy with the politicians, and as long as those campaign contributions keep coming in, it shall remain so. Why do you think they need the $2 billion? To grease up the politicos and keep them happy.

The state sets the pay for the employees. But PG&E can turn around and offer great healthcare, pensions after less than 10 years, and 20% off employee electric bills. They need to go belly-up.
