Can a Heavenly Miracle Save America?

Will God bring down a blessing, a miracle and save America?

Can we agree that God is the architect of the universe? Doesn't it then follow that God invented all the laws of science? If we apply this notion to faith, we can conclude that it must have physical properties even if we cannot it.

Faith is the cornerstone of the Christian religion. Faith is also the foundation of all power. However, faith actually has a scientific basis. We look at faith as a magical power. Magic is only something that we do not yet understand from our scientific paradigm.

I want to be clear, I do not need science to validate my faith. However, as I look at the data, faith can be scientifically proven and faith transforms into understanding the intelligent design of the universe.... And again I ask, is it not true that God created the scientific laws that we live under? What is about to be revealed here holds the key to preserving and enhancing humanity. Humanity has unlimited power and is capable of shaping the planet into whatever the mass of humanity desires, but only through the power of God. But will God bestow the power of miracles in time to save America?  This article explores this question.

I spend an inordinate amount of time talking about the evil enemies of humanity. In the physical realm, it appears as if America has passed the point of no return. As Steve Quayle and I have discussed, individual salvation is possible, however, national salvation is an extreme long shot and it is nearly guaranteed that the only thing that can save America, now, is a miracle from God. Miracles are possible and here is what we know from the Bible and most certainly, miracles do exist.

Jesus performed miracles, Here are just a few and they are well documented:

Jesus changed water into wine (John 2:1-11).

Jesus cured the nobleman's son (John 4:46-47)

The great haul of fishes (Luke 5:1-11)

Jesus cast out an unclean spirit (Mark 1:23-28)

Jesus cured Peter's mother-in-law of a fever (Mark 1:30-31)

Jesus healed a leper (Mark 1:40-45)

Jesus raised the widow's son from the dead (Luke 7:11-18)

Jesus stilled the storm (Matthew 8:23-27)

Jesus cured two demoniacs (Matthew 8:28-34)

Jesus fed at least five thousand people (Matthew 14:15-21)

Jesus cured a deaf and mute man (Mark 7:31-37)

Jesus rose from the dead (Luke 24:5-6)

Will America, subsequently, be saved from itself and from the Democratic Communist Party by a miracle? First, I need to caution all, miracles can be imitated by Satan, so be very careful as the Bible warns that miracles can be used to deceive mankind.  In 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12, Paul tells us that false prophets will use fake miracles to deceive people.

  • This lawlessness was already at work in the first century (cf. Acts 13:6ff).
  • Their work is the activity of Satan.
  • They are doing signs and false wonders (fake miracles).
  • Their fake miracles are the deception of wickedness for those who perish.
  • They didn't receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
  • God allows them to do fake miracles, deceiving people who do not love the truth so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

Can the Christians of America perform a miracle and turn around what appears to be our sealed fate? There is one scripture that seems to say yes. When we look at the miracles of Jesus, he seems to say that we can do what he has done, and more. Look at the following scripture:

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

John 14:12

However, there are contradictory passages which seem to clearly point out, that humans, today, cannot perform miracles.

In the Bible, Christians could not perform miracles unless an apostle laid hands on them (Acts 8:14-17; 19:5-6). Since Paul was the last apostle (1 Cor. 15:8; cf. Acts 1:21-25), there are no apostles on earth today. Since there aren't any apostles on earth to lay hands on people, it is impossible for people to perform miracles today. One might ask, cannot the two archangels convey this power to the people? Again, I can find no scriptural reference to this possibility.

God may convey a miracle to save America. However, given the hedonistic nature of the country, I have a hard time imagining that this miracle is going to happen. However, the remnant must remain faithful and serve the Lord's purpose as if there is going to be a tomorrow. However, there is another set of miracles connected to the wonderous advent of salvation:

The following is where people need to place their faith in miracles. It may or may not be too late for America, God will decide. Perhaps we can influence his decision through our faithfulness. However, I know for certain that we can affect individual salvation as evidenced by the miracle of salvation as exemplified in the following scripture.

  • Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out (Acts 3:19).
  • If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).
  • That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).
  • For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9).
  • For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).

I would love to save America and will continue to work to that end. However, I strongly believe that until the majority of this country gets on bended knee and confesses Jesus, God will not likely lift his judgment upon our nation. However, your individual salvation is not dependent on others. It is a matter between you and God, only. My advice is to continue to work to save America but keep your eye on the ball, so to speak, which is on your individual salvation.
