"We're not that smart as a people, we really aren't." I wish that were not true. I had a couple from my high school class visit a couple months ago, it was a very short time frame, so I did not get into any issues. It was apparent to me they had ABSOLUTELY NO INSIGHT INTO WHAT IS GOING ON IN NATIONAL POLITICS! They both have degrees and are retired successful professionals! CLUELESS! Another high school classmate, retired teacher, she just doesn't want to know what is going on, I have basically been told to not get into it all. There are reasons why smart people are not smart, some people by choice, others because they just don't get it. Thank God for this reprieve, but is it 1/2 over? One thing to do is pray! What can a 75 yr old do? PRAY!
