Of course, that's how any force can easily take over and control a population. It's what the Russians did in Central and Eastern Europe after WWII. They confiscated the farm implements and tools from farmers, and piled them in a field under armed guard. The people got ration cards >>if, and only if<< they went to assigned work (assigned by new leaders, some of whom were subversives and traitors before, enjoying their new power). Starvation can be very convincing. Ask anyone with grand or great-grandparents from there. Getting firsthand accounts from people I trust beats all the lies from "the news" [sic] Same with currency. With currency tricks, watch what they do with your house. Hint: you're not in it. It's all been done before.
