Remove wisdom and strength, 1st and 2nd wave

Dave, 1st wave, remove elderly, remove wisdom of how to overcome impossible odds against you. 2nd wave, remove children, which removes future strength to resist in a long term 'war'. I am wondering if the bioengineered 1st wave combines with the immune reaction in the blood of 'younger' folks to 'remove' them for future assaults. Loss of both elderly and 'children' would give an 'anger' response resulting in unclear thinking during a '3rd wave', whatever that may be. Anger makes you disorganized and more 'self' centered in your thinking and with no wisdom to combine the 'anger' into a pointed self defense force for the country would it turn into every man for himself rather than defense as a nation of like minded people gathered together.
