How is America going to pay all of its debt when our dollar is FIAT CURRENCY? The nations we owe, I am thinking CHINA right now, how do we pay them? With Monopoly money? I would not accept payment in US dollars. Need tangible assets to pay that debt down. Do nyou really think China is just going to give up land they purchased without a fight? We could do what Venezuela did and seize all foreign assets. If we do that, say goodbye to foreign investors and investments. The debt we carry IS CRIPPLING and will impede movement forward. We really shot ourselves in the foot by borrowing like drunken sailors.
