Why Didn't Trump Declare a National State of Emergency?

Why did Trump disappoint? Why didn't he declare a national state of emergency (ie martial law). Did he blink and back down? What's the real story?

Have you considered that it would better to solve this problem WITHOUT declaring a national emergency? He already renewed the old one in December. We don't want UN troops called in. When Obama and Alex Jones jump on the National Emergency bandwagon, I smell a setup. Order out of chaos? Create the problem -- crisis -- and provide the solution. This is the coup de grace.

Drug dealing of any kind must be stopped, gangs and shoot outs kill innocent bystanders, kids and police. But it's morons that buy and take the drugs and over dose that choose to, some make meth to use and sell. Trump won't stand a chance if border isn't secured. And why hasn't he got us out of the UN , etc.? I Q if any valuein voting anymore and so do others if all this isn't accomplished in two years, since the UN is still here and pushing globalism and open borders.

Declaration of National Emergency by Trump is unconstitutional. I think that he does nothing without a plan, ...years in advance. I would not profess to have any idea on his plans, however by appearing reasonable to the public but firm and showing up the Dems by their response I think he is garnering public approval. They, Mueller and Polosi tried to make him look like a tyrant and just painted themselves that way.

I think he will declare a national emergency - he didn't do it during prime time a few days ago, probably because he didn't want to start a panic among otherwise oblivious Americans with heads up their asses. He did want to let them know where the blame lay & expose Democrat double-speak, and he wanted to pressure Democrats one last time to fund the wall, before he takes action.

We are ALREADY under martial law, as we have been for decades. Every single CEO of USA Inc.including Trump signs Executive Orders renewing the emergency war powers acts. In our time, the "emergency" is the perpetual "war on terror".
