Yesterday, we saw a report on the JCPA severely restricting speech and press freedom - right out of the Nazi playbook. Today, we see a page out of the old Soviet Union playbook - travel restrictions. Back then, you could not travel outside your village area without written permission from the local Commissar. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago describes this in detail.
Soon, travel restrictions will be monitored, not by paper passport, but with an electronic passport - your phone. We are under a surveillance grid already. Only one more step is needed to make the electronic passport happen here. The question I have is are the illegals in this country going to be put under the same constraint as citizens? Will they just roam free?
