Access to crypto depends entirely on access to the internet; no crypto holders want to discuss what happens if you are denied access to the internet, by saying something that the regime doesn't like, or if you have a record of supporting, in their eyes, an unsavory candidate, or if you are of the wrong party altogether. What if you are made to take the "Mark" to access the internet, not important UNLESS you own crypto!
I dunno about gold crashing - it may be severely devalued (75-80% haircut) instead of being outright confiscated.
Crypto will be crashed at some point within the next couple years, probably next year, so CBDCs/a one-world digital currency based on crypto can be implemented. Some banks are already "backdoor" implementing CBDCs, so that when officially unveiled, they can convince customers that they have already been using it without their knowledge to make acceptance easier.
And not only will crypto be used, but it'll also be in the form of UBI, so access won't be denied, but dependent on your "threat matrix"/ESG/jab status score. Some will get more UBI than others.
