The picture for people working looks rosey compared to many on SS. The state demands it's property tax and its auto insurance tax before the elderly even pay for health care or decent nutritious food. They take home less money than it costs to live, while the government stills steals a substantial amount of their income through taxes. It is a fact that many elderly shoplift in order to make ends meet. Put me on a soapbox I have much more to say...
