I think President Trump has been A GOOD PRESIDENT AND STATESMAN for our country through making MORE ALLIES AND FEWER ENEMIES in the international arena (=MAGA). PRESIDENT TRUMP did at least the following: invited President Deterte of the Philippines to the WH (4-30-17), visited Saudi Arabia (5-21-17), welcomed Japanese PM Abe to the WH (6-7-18), called off in the nick of time the Bolton-CIA killing machine from killing 100+ Iranians after IRAN downed a U.S. drone (6-20-19), made history in NORTH KOREA, walking across the Korean DMZ to meet the Leader of NK Kim Jong Un in PEACE (6-30-19), and refrained from interfering with Britain’s internal affairs concerning the unjust jailing of its journalist Tommy Robinson (~7-9-19). Now 21st-Century China may adopt the military strategy of U.S. ONE ENEMY all they like, but its leaders would be delusional if they thought the U.S. would be without allies! Before the Redcoats surrendered on 10-19-1781, which ended the Revolutionary War, “the French Navy landed the French troops which won the battle of Yorktown for the American colonists. It was French intervention which beat the British.”

Dave, for the record: There is no actual evidence that Thomas Jefferson fathered children by Sally Hemings. The book by David Barton titled 'The Jefferson Lies' has part of the story; The New American magazine archives have the rest. I forget the details, but the gist of the matter is that another member of the Jefferson family, who was known to socialize with the slaves on the Jefferson holdings into the wee hours, was probably involved. So, Yes: Thomas Jefferson had slaves. Being a man of his times, and circumstances. But he was so much more. More Americans should know more about this amazing Renaissance Man who was so central to their nation's founding.
