Zion Williamson was the number draft pick in the June 2019 draft and now it has been revealed that he accepted $35,000 when he was in high school and he is not alone in this latest breaking sports scandal. Shoe companies sponsor AAU club ball. and now these clubs are implicated in paying the top high school players tens of thousands of dollars. I am not a sports person, I need to say that up front. I personally blame everyone involved. Kids, parents, sports teams etc. (again I am NOT a sports person) I think the issue is not really those people it has to do with greed and fame etc. Just go to school get a HS diploma, and then a degree and then think about the money the fame etc a career. It really is a cultural issue. But I still blame all the people involved. By the way aren't all these guys has retired by 45? One of the reasons that universities are so expensive is the salaries for the coachs and their staffs. IT IS INSANE, SORRY! I truly do not care how "talented" the kids are, there is more to life than a game. See, told you I am not a sports person, I need to shut up!
