The movie "Terminator" comes to mind. It was a great piece of predictive programming. Today, we are seeing the manifestation of that programming as sentient robots invade college campuses. Stephen Hawking's thought that the destruction of humanity would come from AI and robots. Here is the breakdown of this potential threat....

If you want a really incisive, scary and possibly prescient story of the birth of AI, I can't recommend strongly enough, if you have time, to watch the series Caprica, the prequel to Battlestar Galactica. Aliens that are EXACTLY like us only very 'slightly' more advanced, it describes the genesis of the robots and their sentience, who will eventually turn on their creators and why. Politics,crime,a decedent virtual computer world public jack into to realise their wildest fatasies,a religious group with a terrorist faction; it's all there. A terrific religious coup de theatre last episode too! Cancelled after one series? Hmm? DVD extras tell you where it was going... It'll really REALLY make you think.

There is a sentience entity out there that can and will take control, using your belief system. Our medical system is already questionable, using the data system that's questionable. Food and agriculture, weather control, dousing everything in dangerous chemicals. Insane laws enslaving the general population. There is an energy system that is out of our field of awareness, look up MK Utra, CIA experiments, seems like most are unsuspecting of the possible realities.Then think about the pedophilia and our government's involvement, gee what's next? Pizza delivery on "you don't have a need to know" assassination orders from the AI. The controllers are not accountable, they feed us candy and we buy into what they want us to do next.
