I am 65 years old, I live in a strong Republican county in Illinois matter fact the state capital Springfield. Without any place to go it would be difficult for me to bug out. So it almost be better to shelter in place and stand and fight if necessary.

There is the possibility that Trump could end up strengthened. Either outcome, and of election, however, will likely condense to violent division, as the problem is decay, fission of the society, the state of the people - not who is president. I own land inside national forest in southern Missouri, not far from my friend John Moore and other retired agency men - urgent, tough decision right now to develop or consider foreign country, as people are lost in illusions (bias to normalcy). Dave - matter of where, although important, is secondary to problem of finding, getting people together to seriously address future not as a hobby issue, and --importantly-- not as separate, isolated camps in the hills. Much to discuss if you wish.

I'm in the south on a lake in the country. prepped with all you say to have. Need a water filter yet, but otherwise ready to shelter in place. If ANY foreign troops come down my road, I am shooting to kill, and will take as many out as I can before I kill myself. I will not be taken alive.

I have no plans on a fixed income in a subsidized apt for retired senior citizens no money no room to store food water guns or ammo am a sitting duck. I am born again know where I am going don't want to be here when things get bad. You think that is a way to live to lose everything you have, basically surviving go ahead. I don't want to be alive. I want to go home asap! Sick of this world and this evil, evil life!

Hi, unfortunately a lot of people that I talk to still have their heads in the sand. It is like they don't want to hear about the situation. I am 71 and fear that I will be one of the first to go because of my age. I have no health issues and try to exercise. Even my youngest son is a Marine and is out of the service doesn't want to listen. I have asked him when the shtf what will we do if we can't communicate. He just says it won't happen. I live alone with my dog in a semi rural area and I am 1 hour from Orlando, FL that is run by Democrats. Any suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Liz Misa

Dave, I am a senior citizen as well, and widowed. Living on fixed income, which as you know is low. Most my meds are not covered so they are out of pocket and expensive. No assistance because I fall through the proverbial cracks. I cannot by much but do buy ramen noodles, potted meat and Vienna sausages a few each week. Not accumulated much, but am trying. Fortunately I don't live in a blue state. I live in Ar in a city (small) called Jonesboro. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR ME AT ALL? I'm not scared as I am a Christian and depend on My Lord and Savior EVERYDAY. But I know that I am to use wisdom and knowledge and I Don't plan on going down without a fight of some sort. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD GIVE ME SOME ADVICE DAVE.God Bless
