Are there too many "bubbles" for the US economy to avoid a catastrophic depression next year?

Many homes are overpriced to begin with. everybody thinks they have the Taj Mahal buy what you can afford, Dave Ramsey is right. STAY OUT OF DEBT!

I couldn't agree more with you Dave. Granted, everyone needs somewhere to live, and a car to participate in everyday life, but by setting poor people up to fail knowing full well in advance that they won't likely be able to make the payments is nothing short of diabolical. They lose their entire investment and the black-eye on their credit report makes future housing, or the ability to purchase a vehicle, all the more difficult to obtain. President Trump recognizes the critical need for affordable housing and a major campaign promise was to rebuild the infrastructure and that includes affordable housing. "Economic Opportunity Zones" provides the best solution, but gets zero support from the "champions of the poor" Dem Party!

"Opportunity Zones", were created by President Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. To encourage investment into the nearly 9,000 specially-designated Opportunity Zones, located primarily within our cities, the president worked with Congress to develop special tax incentives. With more than 35 million Americans living in the specially-designated areas, Opportunity Zones would provide low income people the opportunity to buy a brand new home with a payment they could actually afford for a change. Within the Opportunity Zones the building lots would be free, so for example, a $50,000 mortgage on a really nice "modular" home at 3.92% would be $236/month! The Dems turn their back on their constituency just so Trump won't be successful!
