Ed Snowden proved this, and has addressed this problem many times over. Get the trendy neo-comm technical trash OUT OF YOUR HOMES NOW! Make modifications to your cell & iPhones, ie take the microphone out, and the tracking features built in. Carry an external microphone for use with the cell / iPhone, just as Snowden does. Unplug your Smart TV, Smart Appliance and your landline if you wish to discuss politics, the economy, or vaccinations. When finished with the conversation, then plug these items back in, and use only as needed. We unplug our phones at night, on week-ends, and we keep our cell phone in a .50 cal ammo can lined with sound- proof material, but we can still hear the cell phone ring on loud setting.
