It's probably not that they are so against the homeless, it probably has more to do with not letting them know the love of Jesus and all who follow him. They probably want all the homeless to feel that the government is the only one you need to turn to.... just a guess, but the way the world is rejecting Jesus, and rejecting his followers, it would seem to make sense.

I think that you are correct in part Jeff. If the state "allows" their cattle to help one another how will they herd the homeless into the FEMA camps? Overall it's just a decades in the making incremental destruction of our God given rights, that to a large degree has been supported and enabled by the mental illness of the modern christian church and christians. "Modern Christians" don't recognize evil much less address it. WE are the enemy Jeff.

This really hits home having been "homeless" on a few occasions. Spent the entire day dealing with usurious property tax penalties and even them claiming I didn't pay last year which means that men with guns would come and either kill me or make me homeless. What drives me nuts that here in the" bible belt" any tyranny by government seems to be supported by the majority of "christians"

The entire system is designed to create and sustain dependance Dave. We could hash this out for hours, but I only have 600 characters left. :-P It sounds simplistic, but people not being able to exercise their God given rights is the root cause of this homeless problem.(and most of our problems in general) I am willing to discuss this for hours with anyone that is interested. A little steel on steel?
