Radio astronomers at the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment Fast Radio Burst Project (CHIME/FRB) in British Columbia have made an amazing discovery. They have discovered that a mystery radio source in a galaxy some 500 million lightyears from our solar system is sending out fast radio burst signals like clockwork in 16 days cycles and have been doing so since the Fall of 2018. 

The pattern of signals is identical and has been documented 28 times during a prescribed 13 month period. This is not natural. Nature works randomly and these signals are anything but random. So what are they? The researchers do mention the possibility of an attempt at random alien contact on a regular basis. The research period covered a period of time from September 2018 to Ocotober 2019. Why was there such a delay in reporting the data?
