Why don't we say that "civil society can thrive without a state, but a state cannot survive without its ability pillage and plunder a society. States can only survive through organized theft, fraud, and coercion at the point of a gun. Civil societies can do quite well without any of that. The role of a mother has already been virtually destroyed through the requirements of both parents working full-time to make ends meet, combined with mandatory indoctrination attendance for the children. Governments = slavery, Institutionalized subservience to authority is the most dangerous superstition ever foisted upon humanity. Whether you learn your subservience in religious or civics classes, you've been infected with a mind virus.

Upon hearing of this absurdity, an immediate thought entered my head. If society can survive without the state, perhaps we should be getting rid of the whole political structure, lock, stock and barrel. Maybe then some sanity will return.
