Bible not about philosophy?

It's clearly very much about philosophy Mark. Here is a quote that I agree with: “...All of scripture is an admonition to fight evil, in ourselves and in the world – and the consequences of not doing so….” ~Arthur R Thompson Here is the definition of philosophy: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/philosophy Again scripture is a book on philosophy. FYI Law is part of the discipline of philosophy.

Mark -- history teaches us philosophy and is part of it.

Look at the various definitions of philosophy (love of knowledge) and you will see that history, law and may other disciplines are under the umbrella of philosophy. Does this definition not fit? 2a: pursuit of wisdom 4a: the most basic beliefs, concepts, and attitudes of an individual or group c: a discipline comprising as its core logic, aesthetics, ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology My God Mark one could not come up with a better all inclusive term for scripture other than philosophy!!! This is one reason that I don't hold "pastors" in very much esteem. They unfortunately don't seem to know what planet that they are on.
