30 days is totally unrealistic. IT JUST AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN! I stopped my newspaper delivery, Now only online paper. Went go to the grocery 2 times in the past 2 weeks I take my Lysol and spray my car as I get out to go into the grocery. I take a Lysol wipe and wipe my face, I was told my mustache and goatee are great for collecting germs. I keep the wipe and wipe off the cart and keep the wipe in my hand to open doors for cold or frozen items. I go early before many people are there and there has been cleaning at night. And to the Post Office early or late so no one is there to get my box mail. AND I CAN THINK OF A 1000 THINGS I AM NOT DOING AT THE STORE TO PROTECT MYSELF! OH I AM PUMPING UP MY IMMUNE SYSTEM: VIT C, VIT D3, ETC!

Counterpersons in food stores, take out counterpersons, and general city hall workers are being exposed to high risk. However the thing we should be most fearful of is our own government. Too many bureaucrats and elected officials have almost zero job skills. Most are privileged people who have lived off their family trusts and never had tragedy, or challenges that most of us average people have to face on a daily basis. Most of these people are afraid of their own shadows, and make poor choices when tasked with large challenges, and hard decisions. We are screwed if we think govt can handle anything these days. Enuf said you know the rollcall.

How about the Flight Attendants! The Pilots are on the other side of the locked steel door with on demand O2 available! The Flight Attendants are taking care of the sick passengers who travel with colds Flues, vomiting, heart attacks etc. AND recirculated air! Not to mention a terrorist...The pilots are far more protected as far as health issues go than the cabin crew...Thank you for mentioning the cabin crew! I signed up only to comment on this segment!( Also passengers are not to travel with a communicable disease...I know with CV-19 the incubation period and they might not know they are infected) Thanks again!

Hi Dave, many thanks for your efforts to educate. I have been struggling to make our. very small country store owner aware of the danger he and his two clerks are in. This store in western New Mexico,is the only source of groceries in at least a 50 mile radius. The owner never uses the internet and is completely unaware of what is happening. I have been suggesting that he limit the number of people (and especially kids) in the store. Next clear the main transaction counters of all the candy and junk and cover it with a new clear plastic tablecloth that can be sprayed and wiped clean and to hang a clear plastic tablecloth curtain in front of the cash register to provide a physical barrier to germs. The problem is the obvious mental denial

I just wanted to say we have been warned! I work for a Fortune 500 co and fortunately at home for the past 10 years and not in a city. I have seen the trends of purchasing and saw the warnings and have been taking action for over a year and a half to protect my family. I bought things I never thought I would need but now know it is essential. As far as the take out? Nope, not me, never was a fan of fast food. As I have spoken to friends and family about our current situation we are in now, over the past year, most responses were scoffed at. Now, all I can say is, “I told you so.” Again, thanks for being out there.

Dave you are correct in your assumption. Although I think that anyone that works out in the puplic and has public contact is at very high risk. Back in my younger years I was an assistant manager for two separate large grocery stores for 20 years. It is not uncommon to be in direct contact with hundreds if not 1,000 people every single day. And with this virus that puts anyone that works at a grocery store at very high risk.

I agree that grocery store workers are on the front lines and are for sure at high risk. However as a former airline employee I also agree with the comment regarding Flight attendants. Being inside a sealed container for hours breathing recirculated air amidst potentially exposed passengers is very high risk. Steve

Thanks Steve for acknowledging the flight Attendants... Even Taxi cab drivers were mentioned on the news as high risk, but not the cabin crew! Much appreciated... I will bring you the Hot Tea if sick and on my flight...Doubt you are flying right now...I also agree the grocery store workers..are extremely high risk
