Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne Is Arrested for Violating Quarantine Orders

Is he the first public official arrested over the quarantine protocols?

No idea what his theology is but the fact we even have to discuss this is an indication of how far gone this ‘country’ is.

The US Constitution should be followed. The "less than 10 people gathering together request" is not the law it is a recommendation. Pastor H-B did not force his congregation to assemble. They made their own decision and understand the consequences. Shouldn't his entire congregation be subject to the same consequences? He is from South Africa and knows what it is to loose freedom. The USofA may end up like South Africa. 30,000 people die every year due to one or more influenza viruses. How many people die in traffic accidents? Should we stop driving vehicles? How many lives are taken with elective termination of pregnancies? The Chinese Virus (man engineered) is another item on the list of the globalist/elite's to control the people.

I believe the law should be followed until it goes against God's law. I will put up with the social distancing and such for about a month, and then that is enough. Elites are grabbing power that isn't their's. I know that there are laws against spreading disease, but why don.t we do this for STD's? I support the pastor. People should then make up their minds as to how best protect themselves.

In these circumstances my best response to Pastor Howard-Browne's actions were not in the best interest of his congregation and the faith as a whole. I think his first response should be to protect and honor and he could still have his program on-line as other more responsible church leaders are doing. I can't think of anything biblical that would support his societal disobedience.

I agree with the gov contagion spreading quicker this way. His and our rights to worship shall not be imfringed upon. However he will answer to God by letting people who had the virus worship giving to others who then died from it. Had he closed down lives might be saved use common sense! He has a big following as well as expensive lifestyle no tithes no income to pay for his lifestyle which is more important his living high on the hog or peoples lives?

Although I agree on the priority of insuring the health and safety of all life, I commend Pastor Brown for standing on our constitutional rights to assemble and practice our faith. My understanding is the church took measures to support social distancing and provided hand sanitizer, etc. The congregants had the option to attend or stay home. Perhaps we should allow informed people to be adults and make their own decisions.

I'm coming down on the side of freedom. Also, I do not believe the "new" corona virus for 1 second.(I'm a doctor & cloning expert). But let's set my believes about the Fake virus aside and go with what "if" this was the most serious deadly bug on earth. You and I still have our God given rights to freedom. The rest of the world can self isolate and not let me ( or "us") into their presence but if we want to congregate in one big building and get sick if that happens, that's our choice. We need more brave people like that pastor. The damn virus is FAKE anyway.

I respectfully feel it has nothing to do with our rights or constitution. He has endangered other people's lives for having them close together. Many older people could possibly be at the church sitting next to undiagnosed CV people. Do you want to be the person responsible for endangering there life? This church feels their rights are being infringed upon but what of the innocent peoples lives that are attending that could unexpectedly be exposed to the virus? What good is our rights if we end up dead?

I am a follower of Jesus. I personally believe he was wrong. He was not prohibited from preaching the gospel. He could have conducted services online as many others are doing. I understand the sheriff's dept begged him several times not to do this. I don't think he realizes he was wrong. The social distancing will be discontinued by April 30th. He could have waited just a while longer. I'm also a constutionalist. I understand the govt is not to prohibit freedom of religion, speech, assembling together etc. But it is possible to work together to prevent a virus from spreading and potentially killing others. This is just my opinion. God is the only supreme judge of the intent of a person's heart.
