The police motto: "To Protect and Serve" is no more. It's now "To Harass and Beat-down." It's much easier to beat-down citizens, than to do real crimefighting. Police chiefs are political by nature. They are hired by the city mayor and/or city council and therefore do what they are told. Some county sheriffs have a spine, but most do not, even though they hold an elective office and we, the people, are their bosses. We are experiencing a total breakdown of law and order. In the 1960s, the joke was "If you get in trouble and don't like the cops, then call a hippie instead." Today, both the criminals and the cops give you the "short end of the poopy stick."

Hello Dave, First time commenting, long time fan. I lived in Aussie for 8 1/2 yrs. Great people, They really don't like the States, but they do respect us. That is the same world wide. Remember that our Constitution is the only one of its kind in existence. Too bad Americans don't realize it. RP

I feel very sad for our brothers and sisters in Australia, New Zealand and all the Oceanic nations. They are in harm's way, they are the guinea pigs in the labyrinths. They are unarmed, far away from the UK and USA. China and their evil minions are waiting in the wings, ready to pounce when a weakening America is in the deep throes of utter chaos.
