Just witnessed military convoy(small) moving encampent equipment

Dave,this morning we drove to our BOL property to take some supplies. Traveling south Central TX Hwy 190 (2-lane which ties into 290 to Houston). Overtook convoy around 8 military trucks/trailers from Ft. Hood (one had 'Hood' hand-written on driver's door). No other identifying marks on vehicles. On the open-bed trailer was clearly stuff to set up temporary military encampment perhaps. Saw about 40-50 black tent rolls stacked up beside white canvas duffel-like bags. One truck was a water tank (probably 900-1000 gallons) was labeled "potable water". Another vehicle was a mid-size fuel tank. A 5' plastic-wrapped coil of razor wire was on the flatbed. Upon return, a civilian trailer carrying a Humvee and jeep was spotted southbound also.
