Dave - Your focus is on where to go to keep our money. I am far more concerned with my freedom and my rights. They are disappearing very quickly.

I moved to Hungary in 2017 to escape what I saw coming, no regrets. I have residency here and next year I can apply for Permanent Residency. in 2025 I can apply for Hungarian naturalization and at that point I am renouncing my US citizenship. It is not worth keeping it. Sorry Dave but America is done. It will be balkanized. Maybe you could go to Texas if you don't escape to another country.

How does the Cayman Islands sound? I think Mitt Romney had a blind trust there. Texas and South Dakota are good states, but would they secede from the union? If no, then you are still paying federal income tax.

You are asking about where folks would go now but what about your post about genocide and actual military invasion of our states? Is that off the table (hopefully)? On that note, what would one do living in Alaska to prepare for invasion? Thanks,
