From the Fed's website: "Conducting the nation's monetary policy by influencing money and credit conditions in the economy in pursuit of full employment and stable prices." Wouldn't that include maintaining people's standard of living, at a minimum? The last four Fed Chairs, at least, have known nothing about sound fiscal monetary policy, except where it concerns their Bankster buddies. At least this clown was honest about his priorities. And it gives you a good indication where this country is headed - to Turd-world status.

Frankly, I am confused about the wording in this video . . . .

In everyday language Powell is saying, I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE RISE IN COST OF LIVING, FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Other wording is confusing to me a total layman in finance. He welcomes the increased cost of living for us peons across the nation! HOW COOL IS THAT? NOT!
