Banning the Bible

The Council of Trent (1545-1564) placed the Bible on its list of prohibited books, and forbade any person to read the Bible without a license from a Roman Catholic bishop or inquisitor. At one time it was a capital offense. The Catholic Church teaches a works salvation and pronounces an anathema on those teaching salvation by faith alone. Why do we consider the Catholic Church a Christian organization. They are enemies of Scripture. Simply read Catholic dogma, the Council of Trent, or ask a Catholic priest how to be saved. Ask him about the 7 sacraments or the Bull of Unam Sanctam.
