This story doesn't pass the smell test. When filing for the proper FFL license(s), the person has to swear to being a US citizenship or a legal permanent resident. There are 8 types of FFLs. Then he gets a face-to-face meet with an ATF agent. The DOJ press release said, "that he exported shipments of firearms, ammunition and other military items." Ammunition I get. But what kind of US firearms would North Koreans possibly want? Semi-automatic xxxs? Hardly military-grade. This whole thing smells like a fabrication or set-up.
