Dave...it seems that Trump hasn't given up on us, he is giving up on the totally corrupted system here in the US. When I was kid I remember a different America. I remember when human and family values were practiced and valued. I remember the catholic grade school I went to had ethics classes till graduation that would instill caring and compassion, and these classes made us better human beings as a result of being reminded daily that there is a higher order of things, that all we see and hear isn't always what we think it is. We were taugt to apply critical thinking in our everyday lives. How many people do that anymore? I think Trump has lost his will to persevere. He has learned learned a hard lesson being president. He has lived in his "billionaires bubble" too long and is finding it difficult to function in the real world. Does anyone remember when papa Bush as president was at a Chinese take out in Alexandria, Va. and did not know how to pay for the food? Too long in that "millionares/billionares" bubble? Trump is melting down. Too many years living in la la land can be a real handicap once you realize what it takes to make it thru an average day like an average guy, in average guy America. It can be a harsh slap in the face. People in his class have not had to deal on a daily basis the hard struggle most people have in dealing with life on a constant basis from paying the rent to begin buying food at the grocery store. When everything is done for you by someone else it creates this beautiful bubble that this is life as I see it, not how it really is. I cannot fault Trump for this, but these are the machinations he came into the world with, and now he has to answer to us. I can only think of how trapped he must be feeling, surrounded by vipers of every persuasion looking to dig their fangs into him around every corner. Well, the only thing I can say to him now is; Mr. President, welcome to the real world. Enuff said, you know the rollcall.

Agree, and some may abandon Trump (or anyone running because of cynicism) in 2020, people in the know wonder if he is really on their side and wants to protect the borders. Time will tell if he will get votes from former supporters.

Trump needs to send Ivanka and Jared Kushner home to attend to Kushner's billionaire empire. The President already knows about Google refusing to work together with the Pentagon on projects because its employees "conscientiously objected", but also has no problems assisting the ChiComs with their social credit for all the Chinese. The Editor is right these two things must be done. He must arrest and prosecute a deep state actor and free the independent media from its censorship.. The democrats are responsible for the destruction of this country, and the longer Trump delays these actions the more emboldened they become.
