Because the Deep State needed someone they could easily control & support. Look at how Jim Jordan couldn't get the votes because of all the RINOs in cahoots with the DS blocked him. As bad as Johnson is, someone pointed out to me that if Johnson is ousted, it would only take a few votes for the House to go Democrat again. And if that happens, Katy bar the door, right Dave?
