In Peter Turchin's book, "End Times," he states that in a prosperous society that creates much wealth that is concentrated in the upper half of society, revolution is fomented. There are only so many seats at the "elite" table. The newly minted multi-millionaires and billionaires want a seat at that table. These are the "counter-elites." As might be expected, they will try to overthrow the "elites" to gain a seat at the "elite" table. They fight amongst themselves to get a seat at that table of power, but also enlist the "peasants" to aid them in the revolution.
See what's happening? The wannabee "elites" stir up the "peasant class" to foment a revolution against the "elite" at the top. Civil War. It's all about power with the monied class.
I WROTE TO MY LOCAL OFFICIALS, COUNTY EXECUTIVES, COUNTY COUNCIL, STATE SENATOR, ETC REGARDING THE PROPOSED 'NODES' (WHICH SOUND VERY MUCH LIKE THE FIFTEEN MINUTE CITIES YOU HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT) THEY WANT TO INCORPORATE WITHIN OUR COUNTY (BALTIMORE COUNTY).
WHEN I MENTIONED TO A FRIEND WHO IS LIKE MINDED THAT I HAD DONE THIS HE SAID, BETTER WATCH OUT THEY WILL BE KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR.
AND THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT SAYING ANYTHING. THEY DON'T WANT TO BE TARGETED. THE WORD IS OUT.
