So even if China is gold based their people are still on the social credit score system! Total tyranny! Correct?

I think Dave's analysis is part of what's happening. More simply, I think that China is simply egging Russia on to ensure World War with the West. That will leave Russia the winner, but weakened and not threat to China. China then walks into the US with no military resistance. The only threat to China will be India and an uneasy truce will be negotiated. China will be the only super power on Earth. With Chinese immigration into North America, it will take pressure off the CCP and the Chinese people will see their standard of living rise.
