Yes, congress just betrayed our children and they betrayed us by voting for this travesty of a debt ceiling deal. Among those who betrayed us are two of the most vocal Trump supporters: MTG and Jim Jordan. That makes perfect sense because they are just supporting the guy who "negotiated" the deal. That would be the guy that Trump vocally supported and behind the scenes twisted a lot of arms to get the rank of speaker of the house, Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy is a swamp rat supported by swamp rats and endorsed by the guy who purports to drain the swamp all the while perpetuating the swamp. Yes, Donald Trump has become a swamp rat by using the cover of draining the swamp. How far from the tree does the fruit fall?
