I see this just a little differently. I see this as yet another "celebrity" that is trying to insert themselves into a situation for a shameless plug for themselves. Pure and simple. And, no, she should not have been assaulted, but just because you can sing, dance, act, or make people laugh, doesn't give a person free reign to exploit their celebrity.
