NATO No Longer Serves the Interests of the United States

The European Union, until just recently when Trump threatened to cut off their NATO funding, claimed they were dead broke. The EU claimed that Trump's austerity program was leaving them defenseless. At least that was the case until recently. The EU has just announced that they are increasing the size of their military by a whopping 700%! Macron said Europe needed to defend against Russian, Chinese and US interests. NATO serves the EU. NATO no longer serves the interests of the US.

Hi Dave, listen to your podcasts frequently and I agree on NATO. We should have exited that organization years ago. I never could understand the logic of defending Europe. Trillions of dollars have been loaded on the backs of American taxpayers to defend them and yet, several European countries have been some of our biggest detractors despite the fact that American bloodshed is primarily responsible for their freedom today. I say screw 'em.
